Hot yesterday at 30C & overnight at 17C. It was a mixture of overcast & little bit of sun with terrific thunder, lightning & rain around 1am. Dull, warm & calm so far this morning.

Another hot day to follow an equally hot and unbearable night.....this could be my last post as I'm melting like a snowman...could just be a puddle tomorrow.

It's been an extremely hot day, almost unbearable to go out through the door. About 8 pm it started thundering and it's still going on now at 9.50 pm, sounds like one long never ending rumble, with flashes all around ... I hope tomorrow will be fresher

Can't stand the heat, 35C here yesterday & only down to 18C in the night. Silent lightning followed by a brief storm & rain late last night. Sunny this morning.

Well ....call me what you want..'puddle' or ' big drip' I have survived!! So very hot yesterday and last night, couldn't settle down to sleep at all . Still no sign of this thunder and rain that is in the news at the moment. Like most have said we really, really need the rains. I am wringing wet just through the 'effort ' of doing this post!! And no, I'm not normally a stinky sweaty person!!!!

I live here because I can’t stand the heat of Northern Queensland. Now I can’t stand the heat here, but at least it is only for a little more than a week. This morning is a little cooler.

After our 18 minutes of rain yesterday afternoon things are much nicer now . More rain is expected later today but judging by the darkening skies I think their timings might be a bit off!!

Still hot & sunny here yesterday (29C) but clouded up a little later & quite a strong breeze. No storms last night & breezy with hazy sun this morning.
