It is dry and still. A good winter day, but cold.

Dry morning, drizzly afternoon, and it isn't very mild as you'd expect with wet weather.

Little burst of sun yesterday morning & then dull & drizzly turning to rain last night. Still raining this morning & all through the night so flooding again on the back field & in the back garden.

We've had rain, but it was normal rain. I don't think storm Christoph reached here.

Rain all day yesterday with strong wind & then at around 8pm it started to snow! Rain & wind again during the night so this morning we have some snow, some slush & some ice, hasn't made it's mind up what it's going to do today yet! This photo is blurry because I took it through the window without any flash or anything just before 11pm last night, the sky was white & the garden looked like daylight with the reflection off the snow:- This is the back 'field' this morning, normally grass & you can see the 'goalposts' in the middle of it now sitting in a huge lake caused by the rain:-

That is not good SueA, However, I suppose you are counting your blessings as many around your area are suffering flooded houses. Are you suffering the high winds as well? Our weather is sunny, wall to wall, but very windy and very cold. There was not much rain here.

That looks terrible SueA, I hope your house isn't in danger of flooding.
We've had a sunny day here today.

that's not good SueA luckily we're on a hill so no worries with flooding even if it's bad. We had a shower first thing, then mostly dry with a short glimpse of the sun in the morning

I don't think any of the houses near us have flooded but there are a few lawns on the other side of the field under a couple of inches of water! We had about an inch of water on the patio & the end of the garden was flooded but it does go down when the rain stops which luckily it seems to have, there have been houses flooded in nearby towns & rivers bursting their banks though. It was quite sunny yesterday which melted the snow but still very windy & last night we had a bit of sleet & rain so the paths & roads are icy this morning, looks as though the sun may come out later so hopefully that may clear.
