Morning folks 👋

Yesterday was quite a pleasant day here though there was little sunshine & the wind was a bit of a nuisance. We got up to about 22C. No rain here. In fact I went to our son's house to water his plants some of which were drooping even though he had watered them Friday evening before going away! As we aren't forecast rain for the rest of the week I will have to go & do it again tomorrow and possibly Friday as well!

At 6am we have 17C which is warmer than at this time since several days ago! Yet our max is expected to be only 21C. Winds will be from the SW and are expected to be blustery.

Enjoyed a nice day yesterday, once again it felt quite muggy at times. The promised and much wanted rain that we were forecast for the evening never materialised .
Bright sunny start here this morning with a high of 22C. Definitely has the Autumnal feel to the evenings and early mornings now

We may not have been forecast any rain today but around 7am we had a light shower. Then again at 12.30pm we had another shower, heavy this time but in 5 mins it ended only for a third very light shower to fall about 1pm. No more since then (I think!) but the sky has darkened several times. It's been a day of sunny periods without a speck of cloud in the sky to heavy clouds that promise but don't deliver. Temps have been about the low 20sC but the wind makes it fell cooler but not terribly. I spent a half hour outside the balcony picking off dead flowerheads & at times gusts of wind made me stagger a bit! I also spent about the same amount of time inside the balcony doing the same but also watering my plants.

A cooler day today and temps will be lower than we have had for some time! At 6am we have only 11C & our max will only be 20C! Skies are clear at the moment but half way through the morning clouds will roll back in. Then, till mid afternoon there will be sunny intervals before the clouds end up winning the battle of the skies for today! No rain is in the forecast for today. But our min is expected to be 14C, which is more like other days.
