Moonlight, T&M ( via GYO mag ) still have the offer on until the 18th of Feb for 6 Elsanta strawberry plants, plus 3 packets of seeds free, just £5.60 postage. I just sent for them today , (it was the seeds that got me ) if your interested go to the site and type in GYB17. Thanks Ladybird, I've tried but I can't get a link to load up. Obviously doing something wrong. Stopping now, getting a tad annoying now.

The expiry date is the 18th. www.thompson-morgan.com/gyb17I sent for the offer by post moonlight because I forgot my T&M password, but I see in the mag here it says "orders must be made via post" I sent the form printed in the mag sorry didn`t see that before . Funny that because for the free patio apple tree ( which is GYB18 ) it says "orders must be made via post or web " I wonder what GBY19 will be

Live and learn. and move on when you have to.

Moonlight - enjoy the strawberries you grow fresh and if you really want to have a go at making jam wait until they are at their cheapest in the shops and just buy a couple of pounds of fruit - this would make 2 - 3 jars

I agree with esther, if you only have a few plants, let the family eat the crop. then when the supermarkets have the British crop of strawberries in buy those, to make your own jam. Even better if you find 2 or 3 pounds of strawberries on the reduced tables. ;D
