I have this traling weed growing everywhere in my borders and lawn so ive sprayed it with weed killer before anything starts growing or did i do wrong ??
I am getting all my seeds to grow in decent seed soil in the greenhouse this year so i have ten trays ready for when it gets warmer
I found a bulb in one tub goodness knows what that is
I tided up the other border were the monbretia has died off

What is the weed, joysie? Can you post a photo of it so we can help? On the subject of weedkillers, last autumn I bought one of those new 'gel' weedkillers, and it went missing. On Saturday I bought a new one, and of course I found the old one on Monday!

Weed killer works best when the weed is actively growing Joysie, can you describe the weed? Thats sods law Geranium, at least you won't need to buy any for a while

True, Rosie. ;D I used it on a dandelion yesterday - I hope it still works! I also spotted a dandelion right in a clump of Phlox - ideal for that.

I noticed sticky willy or cleavers coming up and already measuring over a foot long in the borders, so if it is this, it is easy to pull out now. This is an annual and would not require weedkiller.
