Their only positive attribute is an even size for the supermarket-orientated baking potato pack!
My two rows of Abbot are just peeking through and will get a first earth-up this week.

The WORST ones for me are...Harmony and saxon. I will not buy them. I also grew sarpo Mira one year....never again, they were vile.

I had NO idea there was so much to this potato growing business ! There is an information entry for the Druid potato in the Potato Council database here . I keep seeing its footprints in Google... but its always "not in stock" or "404: page missing" when you click on the link. I shall make it my purpose in life to track down this spud !

I grew the Sarpo Miro three summers ago, and they were narrow potatoes of a small size... nothing like the brochure blurb.

I doubt you will find it roofy, I just save around 20 healthy tubers from my crop. BUT if you do find it give me a shout

What else did you have in mind for them, then?
Never had you down as a Mr Potato Head aficionado, daitheplant

Tried my first new potatoes yesterday - some of the rocket. Still small, so will leave, at least for another week. They tasted lovely yum yum
