A cow walks into a bar. Barman says “Why the long face?” Cow says “Illegal ingredients, coming over here stealing our jobs!”

Thought there might have been an Irish twist to that one SP Will sort that out for you AJ ;D Thought u might. Listening to a report today, what happened was a scandal but also just pure greed. What happened this end during the boom time was that unless you had a share in a racehorse or had couple of horses for the kiddies, you were a nobody and of course you had to have the horse box and of course the jeep and all the trappings required, Then the country went belly up and people couldn't afford to keep the nags. They were bought up by criminal gangs for buttons, eiecrtonically tagged, false passports were made for them, they were exported to the UK and europe where they were sold for market value, a tidy profit made per horse. Now I would surmise that there was an over supply in the market place and human nature being what it is, another opportunity was spotted by unscrupelous buisness people to save on costs by substituting cheaper horse meat for much more expensive good quality beef. There you, Money is the root of all evil.
