Thank you everyone.Had totally missed this.

We had all family over
Granddaughter has same birthday she is now 2

.And on 28th march we got a new grandson calling him Harrison.

To top it all had very little contact for a very very long time with son from first marriage-been seeing him recently meeting up for coffee etc.On my birthday he came to our house.

So all in all an outstanding day.In fact dont think could have planned a better day if I tried ;D

Very difficult at end of relationships.Hopefully now can stay in contact with son and build our relationship.

Seems to be going ok at moment-now 6 month in.Time has flown by.More special because could never have seen this happening.

And it all started by a quick text (never had his number before inital contact on fb-so thank you fb) asking if he wanted to go for a coffee.

Little granddaughter definetly apple of grandads eye,and our little newcomer soon will be ;D
