Thanks Ladybird. I have never used those keys before. Your eyes are good if you can see the smilies. They are very small for me, but it could be because I am using the laptop. We have to click twice now - once on the smilie and then on the choice, even though it could be the same one. It is another thing to slow me up.

The new format will become easier as time goes on. We (well most of us) are of an age where we don't like change; there are lots of new features on V5 if we want to explore them. I've been using it for a while now on other forums....believe me....it does get easier.
One of my favourite features is that you can "tag" people...they will get a notification that you have made a comment for their attention; you can either type @ followed by their user name or use the "insert user link" which is the icon next to the "C" near the end of the icons at the top of the page...type in the user name and click on the link....and bingo.....they will get the message....

Gradually getting back to normal adverts have gonebanner is back calendar has birthdays in as for computers freezing we can't do anything about that I'm afraid but I have read there are more problems with google chrome than any others so you could try viewing the forum in IE maybe?
I think that it is looking a lot better well done. I much prefer the blue shades.
Thank you for all the work that you are doing behind the scenes. I know that it isn't easy.

Thank you With the adverts T&M sort of sponsor us, they pay to get rid of them and we have the T&M section where they announce new products or ask us for feedback including complaints....you will notice they come back towards the end of a month this is due to the credit to get rid of them works on so many 'page views' normally we see them again towards month end...if we have been very busy they will come back earlier, if the forums have been quiet then the credit could last the month out...but don't worry about that keep posting  |
