They look good at any time of the year and get cut back when they get a bit unruly.

And, they're as tough as old boots, nothing gets them down

:)I like those! I'd like to grow one in my double wall and let it flow over the side.

Don't you grow these Geranium? In my last house, that is exactly how I grew them, but here it is as flat as a pancake.

It is a real spreader, but mine is contained so it's lovely in both the spring when it has acid yellow flowers and autumn when it has lovely colour on its way out. Do you know that one?

The E. myrsinites? That's a shame, G. Will you replace it? I found the photo of Euphorbia cyparissias which is planted under my Solanum crispum at the top of the steps in the side garden. It can't escape as it's confined by a brick edged paved area. It would take a flowerbed over, it's such a thug, but a beautiful one!

mine's dead, last year's frost made it very poorly, this year saw it off I have plenty here Grindle. They are small, but seperately planted up last season, so I can send some of these. Same for Geranium. That way you can spend your plant money on something else.

That would be very kind, Cherry. I'd love to grow some and I have double walls where they'd look good.

Thanks, floydie.
You'll have to think about that in the autumn. In the meantime, watch out for Lidl's offers - they have small pots of bulbs at reasonable prices a little later on. Almost instant colour for you! ;D
