What is it about gardeners that makes them always want a discount/cheaper deal? The poor old seed companies get inundated with requests for discounts, sponsorships, prizes for shows etc. I know most of them are quite generous but they are businesses at the end of the day. Having said that I suppose they must turn a profit or they wouldn't be there long. I am so pleased at being able to pre-record ITV programmes on Sky. Can fast forward through the adverts ;D

I love zinnias Lou, but I just got the seed catalogue and leaflets with it. The fact that T&M are giving us this forum is good in itself so I wouldn't look for extras from them. GN never gave me a free copy of their paper, and nothing for moderating their forum. I did not look for anything, yet we were good at keeping advertisements away. I am very happy that a world renown brand has taken up our forum, under similar terms, but giving us more say in what we want so it is customized to fit our needs. [/color] I agree with what Cherry says, and would like to say thank you to Steve and all the Mods for all their hard work in ensuring that we still have our forum ;D

You might have noticed the adverts have gone today and the board is faster again, also the new domain is in place and I'm not sure how long the old one will still cover but you should make a note of Garden-Friends.co.uk also just typing in to your browser garden-friends.co.uk will get you there (no need for the www bit) I will email all the members again though so you have it ready to click on if need be

I thought the forum had already moved this morning when I tried to log on it wouldn't let me, at first it said there were too many users trying to log on & then it had an error message but eventually it connected, perhaps I tried when some work was being done. I've got a note of the new address though just in case I log on & you've all done a runner to it! ;D
