I am touched that you remembered to look it up. I am going to a flower demonstration in aid of the church and the Tapping House Hospice. I am not too keen on going to this, but there is a nice lunch and I will bring home the door wreath that I make. Just what I need! You must not give Steve and Rosie a hard time.

Thank you for your birthday wishes. Unfortunately, I forgot my camera. I am worn out after making the wreath. Someone said they can't imagine anyone paying £6.99 which she saw at a market. Goodness, to me that was cheap after spending hours making the thing. I did win first prize, however, which was a rather snazzy flower arrangement with two huge amaryllis.

Thank you Sue and Dai. I should have said I won my prize in the raffle. Don't anyone think for a moment that I could make a flower arrangement. Have a look at this pretty little village hall, which is just at the end of the sugar road. That is the excellent road which was specially built for British Sugar for the beet traffic. www.wren.org.uk/projects/crimplesham-village-hall-improvements

I have spoken to all my children today and even my stepson. That is not bad for communication when one just came back to Aberdeen from a month away (he was only in Middlesborough), one is in Canada en route to Elgin (This son was working on a rig which was on tow.), two are in North Queensland and my stepson is in Yorkshire. I love them all, but I don't think I could live with any of them now. I threaten all of them that I will move in when I am really old.
