Yes, it's impossible on a match day - the crowds walk from the stations and stream across the roads, plus of course the police are out to martial them. The road to Richmond comes to a complete halt.

One day I was delivering to Twickenham Post Office which is just across from the station and I had to wait over twenty minutes while the old bill let the crowds go over the pedestrian crossing

(you can tell I'm not a fan!)
I used to live quite near Hampden Park which could get a bit noisy and at one time I lived practically next door to St. Jame's park in Exeter.
After being away all week and coming home on a Saturday was a nightmare trying to park. Next day was, 'Guess where I've parked the car' day.

I'll get around to it eventually
