Snowdrop is on his last few days of the beastly 6-month tour-of-duty. It's been a long haul and I can still remember (all too vividly) the feeling of dread (drama queen or what!!) whilst we sat waiting for MT to collect him and take him to Brizes last July. And now it's nearly over!!  I am chilling champers .... |

ONE for me - none for him, poor lad. He will board late tonight and then have to cope with a 12 hour flight, then have to cope with the delights of MT - then have to cope with me In some ways it has gone fast. I kept busy, without trying to wish the time (my life) away. We had skype on this tour, that's a first and we both feel it helped quite a bit. Until there was no internet access over there, as happened last week - he knew I'd be worrying but couldn't do anything about it. I blame my mother |

The plane has gone tech, AOG. So he is still in theatre, the delay will be 'at least' 24hrs  Honestly, I'm surprised at why I'm sad. It so often happens, I should be used to it ... but after 6months .... Humph |
