I have never grown one of these. A pretty colour and good habit. (I don't mean that it doesn't smoke.)

Master Michael is a very pretty man I rather fancy him myself. I am a bit narked - I bought a 5 pack of peach 'Gypsy Queen' hyacinths on ebay in the autumn (really to put in the local Spring Show this week) but I have four lovely orange hyacinths just coming out in perfect time... and one big white one. Grrr! I don't mind mix ups if they're interesting... but!

I'd be hopping mad, too, Bess. I noticed that my Akebia quinata (cream) is in flower. It always flowers before the maroon one. Here's my 'pear tree' bed now. I'm quite pleased with it!

I am sure that is early for the Akebia. If you have the right pair, would you get fruit Geranium? Mine is about two leaves tall. I thought I lost it last year and have grown a rose and clematis over the plant. The shelter might bring it on a little, but it will be a struggle for it.

@hywel the Viburnum looks a picture against the blue sky. Thank you Cherry. We've had a spell of lovely weather lately, but it has come to an end for now. I hope we'll get some more later on

Cherry, I know some people get fruit on their Akebia plants, but I never have. I thought it was early, too.

An Euphorbia (don't know the variety) :-
These are some of my Fuchsias in the shelter beside the garage. They are coming along nicely now :-

Lovely photos Geranium, I like the Sophora You are lucky with the beautiful colour of your self seeded Hellebore Hywel, some of mine turn out to be a good colour but usually they are a washed out pink and not worth keeping
