Yes Dai I use a fair few herbs

so they're likely to go in small pots and those wall planters.

My weekend was busy, as was yesterday as I was off work. I got the topsy turvy tomato planter hung. 2 strawberry planter bags hung too. I got the remaining wall planters wall mounted ready to plant out

I totally cleared out the back yard, got rid of a load of stuff, brushed everywhere and rearranged pretty much everything lol. I also went through a couple of boxes of blood fish and bone, as well as a huge bag of bark lol. I set the 35 strawberry runners too

Definitely getting there

Alpine Strawberries in the 2 wall planters on the left

Radishes and a few different types of lettuce in the troughs on the shelves

Thyme in the two pots on the left of the top two shelves

Spring bulbs are growing in the bottom two troughs - need to do something with those this week
In the blue tub to the right of the shelves is carrots, the two pots beside it are spring onions, the two next to those are raspberries
My kneeling pad is hung to the left of the shelves handy to know where it is when I need it lol
The hanging green thing to the right of the shelves is a topsy turvy tomato planter. Unsure how successful it will be, but will be great if a success.

Worth trying 1 this year with the view of many more next year, if underneath the fascia will be strong enough to hold them lol

You can see how sunny it was lol

2 Plums far left
Blueberries with the orange peel on them

(partly because I heard it helps keep soil acidic but mainly so my son can clearly see what not to water with the hose )
Laburnum on the top shelf

Nothing in the tin pots on the bottom shelf YET

Left side of my greenhouse.

A rose that I don't have a notion what to do with, along with empty cell trays on the second shelf

Top shelf has a begonia that I'd say needs turfed out.

Also, there's the Euonymus Emerald Gaiety and Emerald Gold. I will put those out the front when we get it done.
I can't remember what's in the propagator lol I do have it labelled though but I'm going from memory here lol oh oh oh I think it's Hollyhock Apple Blossom

I think Geranium Coral Spice are in the black pot

Right side of greenhouse

Herbs on the bottom shelf

A variety on the second shelf

Nothing as yet on the top shelf (I ran out of time lol)

Back of it is my sieve (recommended by LB ) my fleece and my tin of labels and pencils which I've found to be seriously handy

Ok so this pic has lead friends to believe I know what I'm at... I really don't but it looks the part, albeit the vermiculite is a bit uneven

I finally got my tomatoes sorted too

I know I/we decided I shouldn't plant strawberries in these, but as I water my strawberries twice a day I thought I would give just 8 a go

That's the other 4 strawberry pots Strawberries in 2 of the wall planters too. Nothing in the left wall planter YET
Strawberries in the 3 at the shed wall near the greenhouse as well as in the hanging baskets

The blackberry is to the left of the shed

All my raspberries, ok so there's a lot!!! They are only young ones so will be repotted into bigger pots next year

I think there's one chilli in there too lol

These are the redcurrants, blackcurrants and gooseberries

Again they are only young but I did intend to pot these into bigger pots by now, looks like I'm going to have to wait

These hanging bag planter thingys (one either side of window) have strawberries in them, just to give them a go to see how they get on

Not sure how they'll do but worth a shot

Cordylines on either side of the window sill (will be moved out the front when we get the beds done

Nothing in the window box yet, probably lettuce or tumbling tomatoes

All strawberries, apart from the winter pansies on the window sill

I'm pretty chuffed with it

I'm just trying to maximise the space in every way while allowing space for taller plants to grow underneath wall planters etc

I will upload more pictures soon. I've more strawberries to set so I will upload pics of them too

I'm very much looking forward to when everything is at it's peak out there

wow ! KC you have been busy , there is a lot going on on there in such a small space well done, you are well organised . love the lime green baskets with the hook they would look nice in the kitchen as well with a few herbs are they ikea ? also love the painted pots in your greenhouse and outside the shed

Everything looks so neat and tidy, have you no messy corner to show so I can feel better about mine

I love them too. I got the lime green hooked pots and the 3D front painted pots in the greenhouse in Poundland and Poundworld

they're actually very well made, very handy and super easy cleaned.

I will take photos from every angle later lol and show you every corner lol

I do like to keep things neat and tidy but it's probably particularly so because I've been working at it lately lol

I'm looking forward to the scent dianthus, not so much the wasps, there were LOADS last year coming up to the end of season. Perhaps I didn't trim everything down soon enough

Are there old properties about, which may have them in their loftspaces? It may be worth asking the council if they are aware of any problems.

I think a building contractor disturbed nests last year but the only problem seemed to be outside at my strawberries lol or what was left of them so I just got a really good swatter

this year I think cutting them back as soon as they're harvested should prevent that again... I'm hoping anyhow

they totally disappeared last year as soon as I cut down all the foliage and binned it

It's unbelievable how much growth there is on all my plants already, that burst of heat really helped last week. I have also sown a lot last week in the greenhouse. I will take photos and upload them asap. It's been all go with me past few weeks but I'm still here lol
