It`s not really a joke but this happened to me . I was 60 last year and everyone tells me that I don`t look it and would easily pass for 50  . When I was using my free bus pass for the first time, I set it on the little shelf of the ticket dispenser in the bus . The bus driver stared at me and stared and stared and I thought, he`s thinking that this women couldn`t possibly be 60 so I said, " I know, I know, I don`t look 60", everybody tells me that", with a great big grin on my face . " No love ", he says ", where are you going "  |

I had one yesterday, Joy was watching highlights of the London Marathon on TV in the evening, I walked in and saw what was on and said 'Are some people still finishing'!   |

I love my bus pass as neither me or hubby drive . I kept a list of all the journeys I made in the first year and estimated I saved a wopping £642.20 precisely . Thinking of getting a bike now so I can bring it on the train . |

A lot of my neighbours have a bus pass, they are constantly gallivanting but it's great because most of them are elderly and on their own, only for the bus pass they would get nowhere, which is quite sad really, but they love getting out and about and I love to see them getting out and about |
