Moonlight your dad's seedling looks a bit like my avatar. No 16 reminds me of a Hapet dahlia called dagla 80 which I almost bought. I know what you mean but 23 has that light tip at the end of the petals which makes it very distinctive.

Hi Moonlight the pale pink semi cactus is the best by far and one that needs growing again, that certainly looks the business. Will it grow upto size (Medium)? Tell your Dad it is a good one and well done keep up the good work. Ian

Lovely colour Ian k i like that better than vals candy looks more precise to my novice eye. Do you know the parents Moonlight looks like it has some moonlight in it and a pastelle. I like them all. This pale pink the bi colour and the deep lilac my personal favourites.

Ian Rang and told my Dad about your comments but admittedly he does not have the benefit of seeing the photos I'm talking about but Ian my Dad is planning on growing pale pink one as a medium next year.

I've put a few more photos in my Diary of my Dad's seedlings in his garden. There are more but I don't have time to do all of the others. (p.s. There are a few of my own seedlings in my Diary to)
Here is a couple of photos from the seedling class at the last show we went to. The peach one and the white one are not his.
This one is lovely and one that my Dad is going to let me have to grow next year. It really is beautiful.
Anyway - I thought that I would share.
