Yoo hoo everyone, home for the weekend and a friend from the hospital who is having treatment there came round and hopefully sorted out a few glitches on this computer. My main news is that instead of 6 weeks treatment I have been cut to just 4 which means going back on Monday for my last session. Got to Botanic Gardens twice and also the lovely parkland around it so will put up some pics when I can get round to it. Off to bed now as only got about 2 hours sleep last night Trust everyone here are all fit and well. back soon.

That is very good news SP. It is good to see you back. Are you feeling better or were you just annoying the nurses?

Glad you posted an update sweetpea I was just wondering how you were getting on, it sounds promising if you're being let off early although I agree with the others it's probably because you've been causing havoc! We went to the Botanic Gardens but it was about 12 years ago I think so it will have changed a lot, will be interested to see your pics.

Yes, SueA sweetpea , I'd also love to see how the gardens have matured since I last visited them.
Cherry - your post reminded me of the James Bolam sitcom 'Only when I laugh'

It's been very quiet here, Jim, as daitheplant hasn't been posting much. He must be on holiday, or stuck at his allotments watering all the plants, as we've not had rain for a fortnight.... until the deluge we got last night.
I hope everything is ok in your garden?

That's great news sweetpea not only you but your family too must be delighted - bet you can't wait to get back to being in the (weather permitting) garden everyday. The weather here has been fab - except for rain the last two days...not complaining as the garden was bone dry. Looking forward to having back posting as usual!

Not the Botanic Garden of Wales I think but the one in Sketty Swansea which may be another botanic garden but whatever, it was still a beautiful place and well looked after. yes alright you lot I wouldn't dream of annoying the nurses only shared a few laughs with them . One young radiologist was Irish and naturally I had to tell her a few stories but she was lovely and ALWAYS smiling. Even when I was leaving with all my bags a little black nurse came over and carried one all the way from the lift to the radiology dept. for me. She had just finished a night shift too. Everyone without exception was wonderful. just can't praise them enough. On Thursday a group of us went out to the local pub though I only had a shandy as not strictly allowed yet to have anything stronger. All going to have a reunion at a pub in West Wales in September. Someone cut the grass for me before I got home so that was a 2 hour job saved. Was going to the nursery today but will have to do it tomorrow now as so much happening here at home atm. Will try and load pics later.
