Thankyou very very much everyone for your best wishes. No, daitheplant, I was not lurking. In fact, this is all I can manage today. Tomorrow will be better. I lost a lot of weight and am only just now able to eat. The operation was a great success, but I was sick all the time. All getting better now.

I have the virtual ward looking after me, so I get showered in the morning and anything I want done in the evening. I have had the physio-therapist and district nurse today. My INR will be taken on Tuesday and physio will call again. All this is quite tiring. Thankyou again.
