I believe it means that they are being notified of your posts. So they can follow what you are posting.

I do indeed Jim. I think the girl needed a father figure.

I have got her as a follower and I can't get rid of it. I hope it isn't me @hywel, because when I was trying to work out how to get rid of her pic on my profile, I gained more than six friends by mistake. I don't want any followers and friends. steve maybe this is an addition which we could do without.

Cherry, I just looked on her account, she is following 7 of us. She only has one follower though.

She is still a member Geranium, but as Rosie said we don't know who she is annoying at present. Why is she still a member? Sometimes I think we are just too polite. I notice I have picked up more followers, including steve, who would sooner make fun of me, and Joysie, who disappears for months. This must have happened when I was trying to get rid of Emma.

No Cherry I am not a follower I am not following anyone, however you have decided to follow me? We could delete Emmas account which would also get rid of her followers/friends options?

For many people on this forum, her posts were beautiful, but definitely not in keeping with the gardening side of us. For the newer members, they were also very suggestive in case you wonder what the problem was with Emma.
Thank you @hywel for starting this subject.

I was looking through the admin options to try and solve Cherrys problem where she no longer want some of you as followers/friends I can't see any option to alter that for you but you may be able to do from your own account and edit/account then deselect followers/friends I did find a couple of buttons to add to the blue bar at the top...participated and new posts, self explanatory really but they may be useful?
