That is beautiful, but it looks a little large to come inside for the winter, which is what I would have to do.

Ricin has been used to kill, especially during the Cold War.

I grow ricinus, and as I know that it is highly toxic I always remove the flower heads...impala is gorgeous...

the plants got quite big last year, but were oiked out in November and the hollow stems shoved under a bench in the garden for bugs to hibernate in!

Have posted out the seeds to everone today...have enough left for another 1 or 2 people if anyone's interested.

Mine have - I think the postman sat on them, though. I managed to rescue 4 whole ones which should be fine. They're soaking now, ready to plant tomorrow.
