I got my wee greenhouse, a bunch of roses and he made me an absolutely stunning coffee table for our living room.

Really surprised today as my O.H. not only remembered & got me a card but bought me a present as well ( I always get him a card & pressie) lovely bucket of plants & 2 pots of muscari!  Happy Valentine's Day to everyone, we don't need cards & presents to know how much we care about our O.H.s do we but it's nice to get a little reminder once in a while!  |

Usually I cook a ruby on Saturday night but as just me and Maureen home tonight I splashed out on an Indian takeaway. Couldn't quite manage it all but they do give v. generous portions. daitheplant I always try to be nice to our forum ladies. Oh all right, I'm a crawler  but it doesn't hurt to spread a little love from time to time. I don't always remember birthdays so this goes a little way as recompense. |

Happy Valentines Day to me from OH he made it, well sanded and distressed it himself I absolutely love it, though you should have seen the state of us trying to get it into the house and into place lol we'd to take the living room door off!!!

lol SP I'm not sure I've any idea what you're talking about but it must be funny if you came out with it lol. Was that not something to do with a confrontation with The Met donkeys years ago? We do have another of those to make into a patio table with tree stumps for seats, but that's when we move to OHs homeplace The hole will work a treat as OH is going to make a funky light for the centre of it |

Cool, KC. I'd like one of those for a garden table too I actually know of a field up the road in Shropshire with a couple of them laying around, but I don't know if I ought to just borrow one! I got spoiled for Valentines too. Possibly mainly as I've had tonsilitus for over a week and everyone's feeling sorry for me  the antibiotics are pretty gross. I got a bunch of flowers from the local florist with the biggest gerberas I've ever seen in it - I suppose they were flown in from Africa or somewhere but they're gorgeous.  |
