Nice pictures both I didn't see it as I was asleep catching up after some bad nights. I got woken up by the telephone 'cold callers' about 40mins afterwards - and was extra annoyed, as at least if they're going to wake me up to tell some rubbish, they could have done it so I saw the eclipse too! I did see the last one though - I think we had Dad's welding masks - so it's not like I never saw one.

I like that one too. They described it as a smilie face on tv (the maximum, not my photo).

some good pictures there everyone, it didn't get too dark here but quite cold and misty, as I didn't have anything to look through I had to make do with tv

We had clear skies here, so we got a good view of it from the office windows. Plenty of pin hole projecting onto sheets of paper, and not much work going on for half an hour or so!

Lovely day today for an eclipse--- if only. Oh well, 2nd day of spring now so might as well scarify the grassy areas. At least it beats painting

Great photos everyone We had brilliant sunshine here in Carmarthenshire, and it went like dusk, but I didn't look at the sun. I tried projecting it through a hole made in a card, like they described on TV ... but it didn't work.

We were lucky here. The clouds cleared quite quickly and we had sunshine so that we could watch it all through OH's welding masks.

Yesterday I could see the very slender crescent moon low down in the west. It looked just like some of the pics of the, 'Smiley Face' eclipsed sun. A touch of déjà vu perhaps.
