I'm glad they've come as so many were lost over the cold period, I was a bit worried there wouldn't be many around this year

I am worried that we won't have any this year because when the ice eventually thawed from our pond we had to fish out over 40 dead frogs. It was very upsetting. We had tried so hard to keep a hole in the ice but the temperatures were so low for such a prolonged period it obviously wasn't possible to save the frogs.

this happened to me too Cowslip, not quite as many as that, but it was nice to see that others had survived.
Last year the pond was full of frogs all busy doing their thing, this year there are just a few, but busy none the less.
