Are they meant to trail or should I prop them up to sort of climb, like greenhouse cucumbers?

No idea Cherry I've grown a couple of these this year just for a bit of fun, I shall look on internet later.

I will sort up the wigwam of hazel tomorrow morning. Every house in Victoria had apple cucumbers growing behind the shed and they were always left to scramble around the ground.

I find the skins a bit tough and do peel off just the outer layer but it depends on your own taste....or teeth

Grindle, ridge cucmbers tend to send out more male flowers first so as the female flowers will be pollinated.
