I love those lupins too. I can only manage to grow the Miniature types in pots here - if I can stop the slugs getting them first. Total slug fodder.

Your garden must be very beautiful grindle. I grew Guinee in Oxfordshire, with a big blue clematis through it. I think it was the darkest red available.

Lovely pics., that Guinee rose looks like velvet grindle ! I've been tempted to get Handel Raymond when I've seen it at Fryer's roses, yours is almost persuading me now!

Thank you grindle. Now if you can tell me if I sow Trillium seeds fresh in the same manner as Primulas, I will think of you and Lou. I opened a seed pod yesterday and they are just too green at present and I always lose them, so I will put a paper bag over them. Fractal may know.
