Greetings VC, and welcome to our little potting shed I like growing vegetables, but - being on a roofgarden - can't really do fruits. (unless Strawberries count ? ) What sort of veg do you like growing ? And is it in a garden, or an allotment or something ?

Welcome to the forum vc. Tender plants would be a luxury for me. I have come from Norfolk to Moray in Scotland and both places only grow very hardy plants. Lucky you.

It's a good thought Cat; presumably they are fairly hardy ? (So far, my strawberries have survived two winters without protection) I'm not keen on rasperries myself; what are your opions vc ?
