I just don't know what to say. Tel has been a lovely member here for a long time. I think my main memory of him will be us texting steve on sunny days to wind him up when he was at work. Heaven has a new gardener today .

We will all miss 'our Tel'. I am so very sorry to hear that he's gone. I am glad for his sake that he didn't linger in pain, though.

Such desperately sad news. I met Tel at Harrogate last year for the first time, and he came over just like he's posts, instantly likeable and friendly, and always willing to give advice. He will be sadly missed by all of us.
The forum has a very large hole in it today.
God speed Tel and rest in peace my friend.
Brenda, our thoughts and sympathy are with you, take care

Tel will be missed by everyone on the forum for his friendliness & help & great sense of humour. I never met Tel 'in the flesh' but did see some of his beautiful dahlias. I bumped into Lou78W by chance at Harrogate I think it was that year in 2010, we were both looking for Terry's dahlias. If I remember right there'd been some awful weather & Tel had lost almost all his dahlias which he'd been planning to exhibit, he'd got permission to change his entries & enter the 'under a 100 plants grown' class - he won the Silver Medal!

Only just found out about Tel. Didn't know him well but he still made time to give me good advice on Dahlias early this year. Decent bloke, no nonsense Yorkshire man. Sad loss to all the regulars on here.
