Hello everyone. Im really confused on what greenhouse should i build. We have around 23~35 degrees whole yr round. Do i have to buy cooling system to keep them less than 25? Or is there any way to keep the temperature from rising without buying some expensive cooling systems? I want to grow lisianthus which needs less than 25. Il be building my own greenhouse this month. Using bamboo since we have a bamboo outside. The greenhouse will be 5x8 and height will be approx 3 metres since i want to have some hanging plants too.
Thank you.mwuah.cheers.

Perhaps you could build a gazebo type structure for your shade house and use some of your fabulous colourful tropical creepers to cover it. These would need to be trimmed well.

Not sure how you can lower the temperature erani other than providing some shade as Cherry suggests. Over here we generally want to raise the temperature but some people do paint the glass in summer with a special paint which shades the inside & cools it a little & washes off later in the year when it's cooler outside. Opening the doors & spraying the ground with water helps over here as well in an enclosed greenhouse.

I would build a shade-house rather than greenhouse. Build your frame then cover with a fine netting.

In northern Queensland a shade house is normal, often big enough for a table and chairs. They look lovely with ferns and plants that don't want to bake in the sun. Also they can be watered here, because northern Queensland is classed as dry tropics, whereas Philippines normal tropics.

Thank you guys! I love d idea of building a shade house. I guess shade house is better. and more affordable. Yeah, creepers would look great. And il put some table and chairs for the teatime. But i guess most plants will survive with below 30 deg temp. I hope so. Thank you guys.

You can really get things done quickly erani. I would still be thinking about it. What do you think should go against the walls on the outside? You could paint it a pretty pale colour and go from there.
