Two hillbillies walk into a restaurant. While having a bite to eat, they talk about their moonshine operation. Suddenly, a woman at a nearby table, who is eating a sandwich, begins to cough.
After a minute or so, it becomes apparent that she is in real distress. One of the hillbillies looks at her and says, "Kin ya swallar?" The woman shakes her head no. Then he asks, "Kin ya breathe?" The woman begins to turn blue, and shakes her head no.
The hillbilly walks over to the woman, lifts up her dress, yanks down her drawers, and quickly gives her right butt cheek a lick with his tongue. The woman is so shocked that she has a violent spasm, and the obstruction flies out of her mouth.
As she begins to breathe again, the Hillbilly walks slowly back to his table. His brother said, "Ya know, I'd heerd of that there Hind Lick Maneuver but I ain't niver seed nobody do it!"

sweetpea, apart from the fact that this is corny and not terribly funny, it is rude and I should take it off. I will see if Rosie leaves it. Very borderline!

I agree with Cherry....someone of a very delicate disposition could read this and be very upset...and report us to Proboards. It was by chance I read this as I usually ignore Sweetpeas "homilies" for that very reason....

I don't think Lou78W is a prude. I shouldn't speak for her, but possibly, like me, she just thinks it is rude and not even funny. I didn't think of the fact that we could be reported to Proboards.

Thank you Cherry...I am certainly NOT a prude !!! I am just sensitive to the fact that everyone who looks at forums does not have a mind like a sewer. Nothing should be posted that we would be happy for a child to read...or would offend anyone. We have a reputation to uphold and a duty of care......if that sounds pompous, sobeit. Yes...Proboards could close us down at the click of a button

Cherry, I agree, it is rude but 1/ as Rosie says it is not hurting anyone. 2/ Lou is always trying to tell people what they should or should NOT do, and as far as I am aware she is NOT a moderator 3/ This is the best gardening site on the `net because people are allowed to express themselves without the use of bad language or abuse. If this post offends Lou, then so be it. Tough.

Just for the record I would not post anything that could be construed as offensive to MOST people however there are always those who take offence where none is intended. Humour is subjective so if you don't like it then don't laugh or smile but remember I happened to be ex military and do see humour in many situations where civvies would be hard put to even cope. Ok so some things I say are inane or irreverent occasionally but I have contributed much to the forum over the years both good and bad. Anyway battery flats so all from me for now

Oh dear! Lou78W is not a moderator, but has a voice the same as anyone on here and can express an opinion. Now we have all said our piece thank you. sweetpea did I miss your notes about the three planets close together? You usually keep us up-to-date with these matters of astronomy. It was a great view this morning, even though the moon was bright.

Cherry I am busy doing a presentation re the November sky for my astronomy group but will put any news re astronomy on here as and when. Currently we are having two meteor showers, the Taurids and the Leonids so if you see a 'Slow' meteor it is likely to be a Taurid and if a 'Fast' one, a Leonid. More on that later.
