Popcorn ? Front row seats ? This thread seems to be turning into a bit of a Hen night ? Does this mean WE are being seen as the GF equivilent of the Chippendales Roofus?  No wonder my knees creak.   |

May Madness
This has been a VERY hard couple of weeks (see Onion Diary . ) But a GOOD couple of weeks, with much accomplished. MOST of it involved onions, but there where some non-allium activities. (click the pictures to see a larger version)

There have been LOTS of insect-attracting flowers planted out (more photo's of these later), but two key ones are these.
The hanging wall-basket contains "KC No. 6". I still don't know what this is.
The decorative basket, however, contains KC No. 2, which I am tentatively identifying as Marigolds !

The Carrot Bottle Bank seems to be coming along nicely.....

Potato Bin #1 (an old kitchen bin) has sprouted, and has been earthed up a bit .

Almost June.....
Hasn't the weather been lovely this weekend ? There has been lots going on, though very little posting, so here's a little update. The pictures are all linked from the RoofNet... so you can click on them for a larger version. 
| The polytunnel has been all but emptied, with all of the flowers and herbs being "planted out". I've even dismantled the rear bridge. Whats left is "lightweight" (for the moment) stuff.... | 
| We've got the salad stuff, plus the courgettes and runner beans, sowed. These are always the last things I do, so it is a sign that summer is upon us !! | 
| I'm trying to grow a decent number of radishes, and to keep them coming. The Owls have dug in to help with their new gardening tools ! | 
| Back outside, the Spudlinks are going absolutely mad ! They've grown at least 2' taller in as many weeks. |
| .. and the bottled carrots seem to be coming along nicely ! |
| Now then... the Mystery Seeds from KC. I've already worked out (in a previous post) that KC#2 is Marigolds. And... I'm going to take a bit of a guess here... is it possible that KC#5 are Allysiums ? |
