It must take longer to remove all those plants than to clean the glass, but a necessary job though.

I used to be able to get 'Coolglass' in a spray can, but not lately. It comes in a packet and you have to mix it up. I tried painting it on - that was a bad mistake, as it was, as you rightly say, not exactly easy to remove. Last year I put the mixture in a plastic spray bottle, and that was better.

That's a good idea Geranium Merlin - when we wash the greenhouses they are empty Its like a conveyor belt here in the Spring moving things from one greenhouse to another

I'm having a quiet laugh here, Esther. I call it the 'Greenhouse Shuffle' as it's a bit like a dance. From the heated greenhouse to the unheated. From the unheated into the wall greenhouse From the wall greenhouse into the cold frame From the cold frame to the outside air From the air into the soil. Dance to a suitable tune! ;D ;D

I think I'll have to raid the piggy bank for blinds. Wouldn't they be bliss! ;D

As It's my first year of having a green house, my husband has brought me some very fine green netting from a building site. It's what they use for wind sheilding on scaffolding. A friend of ours last year just drapped the whole lot right over his green house on the outside and fixed it with peg's, his greenhouse is 12x 12. It certainly made a huge difference when you went in. It's just an idear,

I might do some googling and see how much they are, before I 'pinch' Les's idea.
