I loved the structure of your standard fuchsias Esther....how old are they now? Thankyou for your kind comments Some of the standards are about 6 or 7 years old now ,Lou My philosophy with cuttings is 'bung 'em in and if they root they root and if they don't they don't ' ;D Always worth having a go ;D

I'm trying, I'm trying, Esther! Please just tell me - what mix do you use when you 'bung them in?'

If I have some vermiculite I use a third to two thirds multipurpose compost but if I don't have any then i just use multipurpose Go on Geranium - just 'bung some in' ;D

Are you in a mild or cold area Esther? Are the greenhouses insulated and heated?

You are all so kind I am keeping my fingers - and everything else- crossed I realise this was a while ago but can I ask the top shelves, are they purpose made or off the shelf? I am in awe of your gardening skills and with my first greenhouse pending this seaon I want to make sure I have as best a start as possible. Thank you

Thank you Hello Cat the shelves in my greenhouses are made from roof baton with aluminium supports. The shelving goes up for the winter then is taken down in Spring so that I can arrange my pot plants .thankyou for your kind comment - I really do love my greenhouses

I have a small hexagonal garden shed, half glazed all round except for at the back where I have erected shelving. Would I be able to start off my half hardy annuals in an electric propogator and then when they've 'sprouted' transfer them to my little shed which has no heating.

I am lucky enough to have 3 greenhouses and make very good use of them all year round Spring Summer Autumn Hiya Esther just looking at your fantastic greenhouse photos. Girls gasped and one asked me if you were famous? My question is how on earth do you manage with the watering it must take ages?

Hello Moonlight . I am not famous - I do love my greenhouses though! I don't find watering a chore and enjoy it so I don't have any watering systems in place - sorry to be boring
