Noticed a bit of activity in the wildlife pond last week. Lots of spawn yesterday but in the more sheltered corner so hoping the cold snap overnight hasn't done too much harm. dare say will soon find out when the wriggling starts.

my frogs were busy last week too, but no frogspawn yet, and they've gone back to sleep for the minute

I hope they haven't started spawning in our pond yet with this cold snap, I did see one of the frogs in there a couple of weeks ago though as it has been relatively mild until this week.

I`d just like to have some frogs . I`ve not been successful as yet . I "imported" some spawn as few times over the years but they disappeared . In my last house , with no water at all I regularly found a frog or too hopping about in the garden.

None so far in my mini pond, which is just as good given it’s been iced over for days despite my best endeavours. Overnight and this morning, we’ve had four inches of snow, so I’ll let nature take its course.

The pond was a seething cauldron of croaking & mating frogs in the sunshine yesterday & we now have - frogspawn! There were about 10 frogs in there & the noise was incredible with them all splashing around & croaking while I was doing the lawn.
