It's such an upheaval Geranium, we had a fab kitchen fitted at the house we are going to sell, and i had to leave it behind

What kind of kitchen are you getting? solid wood or a coloured one(i used to work for showrooms in B&Q and sold many kitchens,bathrooms etc)

It's solid wood, and we're having granite worktops - that's because the walls are wobbly, and granite can be cut to the right shape, which you can't do with laminate. Sandstone floortiles - they're half down. What a palaver it all is! The whole house is upside down!

No fitter today - he must be having trouble with the van MOT/service.

Hmm...well, the units are a not-quite-white - just slightly tinged with grey. The floor tiles are pinky-brown, and the granite is grey with swirls and swooshes of pink/beige running through it. The wall tiles are a mixture of five different ones - pink, cream, white/grey and beige shades. I've almost got a belfast sink, too! ;D

Our predecessors had beige carpet on the floor, and small square tiles on the worktops - they're a nightmare to keep clean, and can you imagine a light carpet with a dog?
