yes tried that, doesn't do anything, I've just resorted to keep scooping it outyes that'swhat I do but always seem to catch a load of tadpoles which I have to get back in the pond. Doesn't help the old back all that leaning over

I know what you mean, it takes just as long rescuing the wildlife from the net as scooping it

I now have a duckweed covering on the pond. I suspect the heron that came visiting last year brought it in as I have not added anything to the pond for 2/3 yrs now. Will have to start scooping! Glad I read this thread before buying any of the chemicals.

yep had it appear again in my pond in the summer, can only think it's the birds brought it in

here too, I made a pole with nails in which works really well as I can wind in round and it sticks to the nails, it's very heath robinson but does the trick
