they're lovely SueA mine are slowly starting to flower, although some have been crushed with all the work that's been going on

Really upsetting when that happens isn't it grindle & some of yours was by tree surgeons wasn't it who you'd expect to take a bit of care around plants. Hopefully yours will recover & flower again, lots of buds on various hellebores here now, I can see them now I've cut the dead leaves back.

to be fair SueA the tree surgeon was very good, it was just some of the work was in difficult places where it was impossible to avoid a little damage, the worst is where the fences went up, again, difficult to avoid, but what can't be saved will just have to be replaced, I feel a shopping spree coming on
