thank you both put it in a couple of years ago SueA but I can't remember what it's called Looks like one of the Athyrium niponicum varieties grindle maybe ghost or silver falls ?

I thought it might be burgundy lace, but doesn't look the same colour, could be metallicum or as you say silver falls steve

Took some photos down at the 'wild' end of the garden yesterday (I found my bluebells chrism! ) Dicentra (called something else now I know) Bleeding Heart Wild garlic & a cheeky wren who was rooting through the hanging basket on the garage!

I'm going to carry on calling it Dicentra SueA and grindle. If they want new names they should think of something easy to pronounce ! and easy to remember
