Lovely flowers SueA, especially the Lily of the Valley, it was one of Beryl's favourites. I have some in a pot which is starting to flower now. They don't like the garden here for some reason.

I've tried lots of places in both our gardens over the years Eli as I've always loved Lily of the Valley too & it grew in our garden only a couple of miles from here when I was a youngster. This plant is the only one which seems to have taken properly in the last couple of years, it's in the front garden which is in shade for some of the day close to a rose bush.

Still looking great. Bees love it. I could not cut my Salvia down last winter because the bees loved it, and it does not yet look up to much because of this. It is not as good a colour as yours. When I get a garden I will ask for a stem back. Your front garden looks wonderful. It is hard to know what to plant in the front but you nailed it.

Thanks grindle, the roses have all seemed to start to bloom just over the last few days, the front garden is a bit 'wild' but it always has something of interest, a couple of the neighbours said the other night that they like that we have something to look at all year round, most of theirs are just lawn or gravel 'car parks'. Cherry, I'll try & make sure I keep the salvia alive for you, I've taken a few cuttings to grow on just in case!
