Thank you Cherry, unfortunately these do not have a perfume but some of the large flowered desert cacti have a very delicate scent.

The cactus I have in the bedroom is flowering, I think it's an echinopsis (maybe easter lily/hedgehog cactus?), very pretty white flowers on long stems:-

I bought one yesterday, they have a nice selection in Wilkos £3 in a ceramic pot, the pot must be worth that, these are not dyed or have the stick on flowers either

My first thoughts with the woolly areoles was they can’t be selling a Lophophora in Wilkos Eli knowing what it’s properties are, but it does have tiny spines forming, Echinocactus or Gymno perhaps?

Yours looks quite like the one in my photo steve, mine was about £4 or so from Lidl a few years ago in the ceramic pot & has flowered for the first time this year, it had 2 flowers but they only lasted a day each.

SueA and steve both your cacti are probably Echinopsis subdenudata. The flowers only last a day.

Astrophytum myriostigma, flowering in October - it's never done that before, and it has had several flowers through the summer.

Eli when do you re pot your Cacti ?? Spring or early summer is best because that's when they are in full growth, but any time will do if need be.

What a lovely collection. I think I'm going to get some Rebutia seeds as I've heard they can flower relatively quickly. That R. senilis has stunning golden flowers 😍
