I may have mentioned this before but each day I find a couple of young lettuce plants neatly snipped off. They're in my raised GH beds which I earlier drenched in 'soil sterilizer' I've used mouse traps, spread slug killer but to no avail ! Could it be the dreaded VW?

With what you have said, i would say it was more likely birds merlin, try putting fleece or netting over the lettuce.

I have the GH door closed most of the time Tel, lost two more today by the same means. A neighbour told me today that it could be woodlice!

I agree Tel, not woodlice. I would have said slugs, but you have used bait.
