I am still new at adding photos. The Hebe is completely covered with fresh blooms and buds. The antirrhinum is the product of free seeds just thrown in for colour and the bedding dahlia at the front popped up from the last owner. This fence will be painted soon I hope.

Cherry You have done very well at uploading your photos & the plants look very good! Here the Hebes are also covered in flowers! In our granddaughter's school they have several bushes that are covered in flowers! The white Snapdragon is still flowering very well! Our son gave me some seedlings in the spring & they grew & flowered very well but I haven't been able to get them to flower for a 2nd time like he did! Your Dahlia really pops out on the screen & it's a lovely colour, too! I have several pots on the balcony but this year they have done very badly so I'm not keeping them for nest year. Still they have flowered 3 years in a row. They originally came from a packet of free Dahlia 'Bishop's Children' seeds with Gardener's World mag.

Thanks for helping my confidence to put photos on line. grindle is that a Cercis? Mine consists of 3 branches which are getting very wind blown and I don’t know whether to use a couple of short stakes to steady it. Hopefully this will be a feature to cut out the neighbours houses opposite.

[/quote] Yes it is Cherry it's about 11 years old, it nearly didn't make it from a small one as Dylan chewed it when he was a puppy, but I think they must be tough as it survived Yes SueA quite a mixture this year

grindle Lovely to see so many plants in bloom still! It's certainly a strange year that is very confusing for plant life especially!

It is a Melianthus major steve which was in a pot at my last place. I bought this and the Bergenia ciliata ‘Wilton’ from East Ruston Gardens.
