I like your plants Eli! I don't have anything in flower in the house at present

I have a few Cyclamen flowering on the balcony & the odd Geranium as well. The rest of my plants are Pansies which seem to have picked up well after being frozen solid for a couple of days on the balcony railings!

They are the only plants with colour & I hope this has been just a temporally setback for them.

As I couldn't go out on the balcony again today, due to the rain once more & the pigeon poo making it dangerous & slippery, I was only able to look at the poor Pansies getting "drowned" in all the rain after being practically frozen to death last week.

I took a couple of photos of the big 'Bird of Paradise' in the kitchen. To do so I turned the plant around through 90 degrees as the leaves point to the window. As I did so I realized how right my idea a few weeks ago of potting it up into a bigger pot was! In the spring I shall have to get a bigger pot but not one made of plastic this time, it's now getting too big & top heavy for plastic pots. Once the weather shows no sign of frost I shall move it out onto the balcony for the summer & bring it back in during October before the frosts start again.
