This Amaryllis has been flowering for most of this week in our kitchen. I take photos of its flowers almost every day & here are a couple from a few days ago. This is one I grew from my own seeds! (Took 4 years to reach flowering size!)

The tulips have been lovely this year but they're going over pretty quickly as well due to this very drying wind!

Seems a bit silly, doesn't it? After the wettest March in many years now they bring in a hosepipe ban!

Just this evening I discovered 3 different Pelargoniums flowering in the kitchen window! I knew one, the red one, was in flower but I had no idea that the other two were also! If you think that strange (or that I need new glasses!) you need to understand that there is a shelf under the kitchen window that is chock-a-block full of plants that impede my vision of the windowsill.

I also took some close up macros of the flowers but I'll leave them for another day!
