Eli I really like the old fashioned antirrhinum, which are the real snapdragons. I grow these too, but they are not easy to buy as young plants.

I bought these as young plants last year Cherry . There are three in the pot and they are different colours. They've grown tall this year.

My son gave me a few seedlings last year and they grew very well and had lots of flowers. Our town council gardeners have used them in the flowerbeds around town this year. They have planted little groups of white Snapdragons and they look quite impressive! Eli, I will see if I remember to upload some photos from the computer as I can't do it from my phone.

Outside the front door is this Hydrangea paniculata. The scent is really lovely. Near it is this unusual Campanula. C. primulifolia And a close up of a flower.

On the subject of scent a couple of evenings this week I've noticed a very strong, but not disagreeable, scent on the balcony. I think it must come from the many petunia flowers open on the balcony railings. I have grown petunias En masse before but I've never noticed a scent like this. I think it comes from them as there are no other plants on the balcony that are scented that I know of. ๐ค
