I believe he lives in Herefordshire Could be wrong but I thought he lives in East Anglia. I don't really need to keep a record of Swallows as they always arrive on or about the 11th. Something to look forward to, not long now.

We saw our first one this morning, there were half a dozen skimming the fields by this afternoon. I must cover everything up in the potting shed before they start to nest.

Not yet, tomorrow if they're on time. Yesterday I saw some Sandmartins while sitting on the river bank, and, a Brimstone, Orange tip, painted lady, small brown, small blue and a Red Admiral. We rarely see a Brimstone here. Maybe it's an omen for a sunny summer WF, if those Swallows were sitting on my Ariel they would probably have come from Granada.
