I would have run away screaming WF. They are very clever shots.

We were sat by the pond today when the grass snake swam right past us. I whizzed inside to get the camera and managed a rather blurred shot before it swam off again. They are such graceful creatures.

I would have run away screaming WF. They are very clever shots. Your snakes were poisonous so it is understandable. I should have told you not to look. The photos are not great but we are chuffed to bits with getting anything on film.

Next time you are in the centre Lou, if the sun is out I'll show you and Brian the Lizard. It's lightning fast and runs at the slightest movement though. One of my colleagues says he has got a great shot of it sunbathing which I might ask if I can post.

True, I lived on an orchard with snakes, and all snakes in Australia are poisonous.

Not wanting to hijack this thread but I have a couple more pics of the Lizard at work. First two by me today (after Lou and Brian left) This one taken a few days ago by colleague who forgot to remove the protective scratch cover off his lens!!!
