Those pencils look lovely Piskie but I would never have spent that much, the most I think I've spent was for a wooden box set from W.H.Smith but I think they were about £19. I like working in pencil too, it seems there's quite a few of us on here, nice drawings Floydie & Cheery!

Buy them. Have what you want when you want it because you never know what's around the corner and what's in store - live life. I see a lot of people (patients) put things off and then their life changes, their health changes and they have regrets .... so live life as fully as you can - and, if, in the grand scheme of it all, you can afford it - have it. I guess I explain it to myself in that they aren't 'just' pencils they are Inktense and I love using them. I have tried pastels but all I end up doing with them is getting them over my nose, down my arms and down my jeans

You've just reminded me that i need more oil paints too (I think the kids have used them all tut tut). May treat myself and do abit of drwing/painting .

I dont If i find a spare few hours and i feel upto it i draw, but i havent done anything since the comes seahorse (a few years ago) .
