I think that sums it up well SteveN, Were it not for the fact that they attract bees and have a lovely strong perfume, I'd not bother. As it is I'll dead-head, take cuttings in July and keep fingers crossed. When I took them out of their pots the root system was prolific! almost pot bound so they look like they'll do well this year.....with dead-heading. Yesterday I bought an alpine version, 'Golden Jubilee' hope that will prove hardier.
